Unsure which course is for you? Skip ahead to descriptions here.
We understand most behavior issues stem from deeper problems like communication, frustration, impulse control, and leash walking struggles—not just a lack of obedience training. That's why our courses focus on these foundations, helping owners prevent and resolve these issues.
Training starts in the quiet of your home, where dogs can learn new skills without distractions, and then applies them in real-world scenarios.
Every family and dog is unique, so our courses are tailored to your specific needs, starting with a discussion about your goals.
When you join Alix & the Pack, you gain lifelong access to resources including a detailed learning theory guide, a supportive WhatsApp group with weekly meetups to practice, and an online forum for questions answered by trainers.
Our community also hosts human-only events, weekend walks, and dog-related item exchanges. It's a space for sharing training successes and challenges, keeping us connected as we build better relationships with our dogs.
By obtaining a lifetime membership with Alix & the Pack, you unlock access to our online platform and become an integral part of a community. Here, you have the opportunity to seek assistance and provide support. We have dedicated topic-specific forums where trainers address your questions and fellow dog parents provide words of encouragement and support.

Below you can read a brief summary of each course to help you decide which to choose.

Puppy Course
Number of sessions: 5 (once a week)
This course is aimed at all puppies from 8 weeks to 7-8 months, and for those wishing to focus on the foundational skills of dog training. We recommend starting this course as soon as you get the puppy. If your puppy is already a teenager then we would recommend either the Reactivity course or the Back to Basics depending on the issues you are facing.
This course aims at guiding you through the foundational pillars of training to ensure we mitigate current puppy problems and avoid future behavioural issues.

Reactivity Course
Number of sessions: 5 (once a week)
This is course is aimed at dogs of age from 6 months +, and is for those struggling with reactivity issues. Reactivity is essentially an over reaction to a stimulus and can stem from anything from fear and anticipation, to frustration and excitement. This course aims at helping you to understand your dog's reactivity, their triggers and why they react. We will teach you how to manage your dog's behaviour but also importantly how to change their behaviour and reduce (hopefully eliminate) their reactivity all together.

Separation Anxiety Course
Number of sessions: 4 (once every other week)
This course is aimed at dogs of all ages, and is for those dogs that struggle to be apart from their owners, be that at home alone or even if one owner is separated. In this course we will aim to help you through the steps to getting your dog comfortable with being home alone and separated from you. Note that separation anxiety can vary a lot in severity and for severe cases you will likely need to continue training for many months after the course.

Back to Basics Course
Number of sessions: 4 (once a week)
This course is aimed at dogs of age from 6 months +, and is for those that wish to freshen up on the fundamentals of training or are struggling with non-severe behavioural issues that they wish to troubleshoot and solve. This is a great course for those that wish to deepen their own training knowledge and skills.

Demanding Dog Course
Number of sessions: 3 (once a week)
This course is aimed at dogs of age from 6 months +, and is for those struggling with demanding behaviours from their dog. These demanding behaviours can be displayed as anything from pawing, jumping up and whining, to crying, howling and barking. This course aims at helping you mitigate your dog's demanding behaviour by teaching them an alternative behaviour that is incompatible with those currently displayed and also reducing their need or opportunity to demand.
